Who said mall Chinese couldn't be the best! I was just coming to get my nails done, but I noticed I was a bit too hungry to wait get my pizza from the Ave (normally one of my first food stops when I land in NYC). I needed a snack and this was perfect! It's self service and you have 2 options. You can fill either a small container $4.99 or large $6.99 to its capacity. Don't you dare forget the spring roll for $1 more. They also sell bubble tea, but I didn't try it. Looked pretty standard though.
I wasn't going to get food at their food court but L's nephew wanted something to eat for lunch so I was wandering around and this lady was gesturing us to come on over. We finally relented and tried a few items which tasted pretty good so we opted to share the share plate for $6.99. You can stuff your box with 5 items. We chose lo mein, teriyaki chicken, pepper chicken, bourbon chicken and spare ribs.. Americanized Chinese fast food but pretty tasty. Actually tasted better than the take out places I've tried in Long Island and Jamaica... The only issue we had with the food was the amount of sugar and salt we probably inhaled that meal. If I had taken it to go, I definitely would've made a lot of rice. The proteins are very saucy but they're not breaded so that's a huge plus. The meat was not dry at all. I ended up not having dinner and ate some watermelon instead since I was full for the rest of the night.
You get a large amount of food for $6.99. The bubble tea was really good. I chose mango there was 2 sizes. $4.99 and $6.99. I picked the large. In a nice location, upper level of the mall with plenty of seating.
The best place to get your standard mall food in Green Acres food court . For $6.99 you can choose 5 items which turn out to a large amount of food. My mom and I always end up sharing because it's way to much for us to eat alone. There's different types of meats orange chicken, teriyaki, pepper chicken, pork, etc and for sides there's white and fried rice, noodles, roasted potatoes and broccoli. They also sell bubble tea which is really good as well. The only bad is that the food servers are always in a rush so you have to choose fast and under pressure. Other than that you can't beat the price to food portion at this place! The food is tasty as well. If you're at the food court I definitely recommend you to come here you won't regret it!
